Like everyone seems to start programming in a new language by implementing the infamous “Hello World” example, I’d like to start this blog by saying hello to the world: Hello there, I’m Andre, an undergraduate at the University of Rostock and this blog is about:

Learning about Haskell.

Learning something using Haskell.

Learning to use Haskell proficiently.

Although I’m not a beginner anymore I’m far from calling myself an advanced Haskeller. But this gap I want to close on this blog. However, I’m not only interested in Haskell and functional programming, therefore you can expect various topics from Computer Science and probably Mathematics. Apart from these main motivations I strive to improve my English writing skills as well as my ability to explain concepts and ideas from the topics I deal with.

I’d really appreciate if you point out my mistakes and misconceptions in the comments! Thank you very much in advance.
